About this Blog

I love tea, and most of the time…I’m sipping a cup while doing a hundred other things! Although I know absolutely nothing about blogging and I am learning ALL of this as I go, I am excited about mixing my passion for tea and my enjoyment of writing into this tea blog. Theoretically, I’m a pretty good writer; I have a degree in  journalism and I’m working on another in English. This is all for fun though and keeping that in mind, I don’t plan to turn this into a serious writing venture!  Don’t judge me on my sentence structure, please!  Furthermore, there may be a few typos here or there…especially since I’m also attempting to run a blog while juggling two small children, a husband, and a cat (who sheds so much that I sometimes question why he still has fur). Due to the fact that I’m often attempting to conquer the world in a day…I usually have twenty different things going on at once; consequently, I may re-blog and re-post interesting tea related things I find on the web as well as blog my own ideas.  I will try my absolute hardest to give credit to others when credit it due!

I am by no means an expert on tea, but I do think it would be safe to say that I know a little bit more on this subject than most.  I have spent years researching the history, culture and societal aspects of tea.  And…of course, I love collecting and tasting different teas and blends from the most ordinary of supermarket teas to the exotic teas imported from tea plantations around the world.
